why shouldn't i use tap water in my eye sauna?
Over time, minerals found in tap water can accumulate and may clog the misting plates in the Eye Sauna. For optimal performance, distilled water is the best choice since it contains no minerals. Demineralised water is also highly purified and suitable to use. While filtered tap water may still some mineral impurities, it can be used as a viable alternative if no other are available.
Distilled or demineralized water can potentially start to be contaminated with bacteria over time. It would be best to not use any remaining water in a bottle 2 weeks after opening. Try and find the smallest bottle you can to reduce wastage.

will eye sauna cure my dry eyes?
Short answer, no.
Dry Eye Disease is a complex condition influenced by various factors. While applying heat to eyelids can provide some relief, other contributors to dryness and irritation may also be present. We suggest consulting an optometrist or ophthalmologist who specializes in dry eye treatment for further assistance. Typically, ongoing treatments are necessary to maintain eye comfort.
